Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Quickpanchang.com, who operates quickpanchang.com (“QuickPanchang”, “we”, “us”) as a private beta. By using the service you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.

1. What QuickPanchang is

QuickPanchang is a cultural planning assistant. It applies traditional Telugu Panchangam rules to astronomical data in order to suggest time windows for personal occasions, and to describe how a given day looks under those rules. Public Day Panchang and month calendar pages provide location-specific almanac values, supported observances, and traditional ready-reference timing modules; they are separate from the occasion-specific ranked planner.

Astronomical values are computed with the Skyfield engine using checksum-pinned JPL DE440s data. The interpretation layered on top is a traditional rule system, presented as cultural reference material.

2. Who may use it

You must be at least 13 years old, or older if your country requires it. By using the service you confirm you meet that requirement and that any information you give us is accurate.

3. No professional advice, please read

QuickPanchang is provided for personal, cultural and informational use only. It is not professional advice of any kind and must not be relied on as a substitute for it.

Specifically, and without limiting the above:

• Not financial or investment advice. Some features describe timing for activities such as trading. We are not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, financial planner or commodity trading adviser, and we are not registered with the SEC, FINRA, the FCA, SEBI or any comparable body. Nothing in the service is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security, cryptocurrency or other asset, or an offer or solicitation to do so. Markets involve risk of loss, including total loss. Any trading or investment decision you make is entirely your own. Consider speaking to a licensed financial professional.
• Not medical or health advice. Do not use the service to decide anything about medical treatment.
• Not legal advice. Timing suggestions for matters such as signing property documents are cultural reference only, and say nothing about the legal effect of any document.
• No outcome is promised. Acting at a suggested time does not cause, guarantee or influence any result.

4. Your account

You may browse Day and month Panchang without an account. Using the muhurta planner requires a signed-in account. If you create one, keep your credentials secure and tell us promptly if you suspect misuse. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or close an account that abuses the service, breaks these terms, or puts other users at risk.

5. Access and advertising

QuickPanchang is in private beta and is free to use. It may display limited, non-personalised advertising in designated parts of the service. Advertising availability, fill and revenue are not promised, and the presence of an advertisement is not an endorsement by QuickPanchang.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, bulk-download, or systematically extract results, or resell them as your own service.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service or its infrastructure.
• Interfere with the service or overload it.
• Use the service unlawfully, or to present its output as licensed professional advice.
• Upload another person's birth details without their knowledge and agreement.

7. Ownership

The software, interface, branding and rule sets are ours and are protected by intellectual property law. You may use the service for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.

The content you provide (birth details, plans, preferences) remains yours. You grant us only the permission needed to operate the service for you: to store that content, compute results from it, and show it back to you or to people you deliberately share a link with.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the service running but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. Where a change is significant, we will give reasonable notice when we can.

9. Disclaimers and limits on liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that calculations are free of error or suit any particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, business or investment losses, arising from your use of the service, however caused and regardless of the theory of liability, even if we have been advised such damages are possible.

Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or (b) US$50.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded, and if you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising out of your misuse of the service, your breach of these terms, or your violation of another person's rights. This does not apply to the extent a claim arises from our own wrongdoing.

11. Ending this agreement

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms, or if we discontinue the service. Sections 3, 7, 9, 10 and 12 survive termination.

12. Governing law and disputes

QuickPanchang is currently a private beta. The governing law, and the courts that will have jurisdiction over any dispute, will be specified here before public launch. In the meantime, nothing in these terms waives any mandatory rights you have under the law of your country or state of residence.

If you are a consumer (including in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area or India) nothing in this section deprives you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your country or state of residence, or of the right to bring proceedings in your local courts where that law gives it to you.

Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us at support@quickpanchang.com. Most problems can be resolved quickly that way.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material we will update the date above and give notice in the app. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms; if you do not, please stop using the service and delete your account.

14. Miscellaneous

If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between us about the service. You may not assign them; we may assign them in connection with a transfer of the service.
